1. Batch Scheduling Policy

Adapt Music Academy follows a structured batch system to provide a consistent, focused, and professional learning experience for every student.

Each course consists of two instructor-led classes per week, with each class lasting two hours.

Weekday Batch

Students enrolled in the Weekday Batch will attend classes on:

  • Tuesday
  • Friday

The academy offers the following weekday batch timings:

  • Batch 1: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Batch 2: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Batch 3: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Weekend Batch

Students enrolled in the Weekend Batch will attend classes on:

  • Saturday
  • Sunday

The academy offers the following weekend batch timings:

  • Batch 1: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Batch 2: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Batch 3: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Students will be assigned to a batch based on seat availability and their preferred weekday or weekend schedule at the time of enrollment. While the academy will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a student’s preferred schedule, placement in a specific batch cannot be guaranteed.

Once a batch has been allotted, students are expected to attend the same batch throughout the duration of their course. Attending another batch without prior approval from the academy is not permitted.

Batch change requests will be considered only if seats are available in the requested batch and the change does not affect the learning experience of other students.

To maintain the quality of instruction and ensure an optimal classroom experience, each batch has limited seating. Admissions are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seat availability.

Adapt Music Academy reserves the right to modify batch timings, merge or reorganise batches, or introduce additional batches based on student enrollment, instructor availability, public holidays, or operational requirements. Any significant changes will be communicated to students in advance.

Students requiring complete scheduling flexibility due to professional or personal commitments may enroll in the academy’s Private Training (One-on-One) Programme, which offers personalised scheduling with an instructor for an additional fee, subject to instructor availability.

2. Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is essential for effective learning and steady progress throughout the course.

Each class is scheduled with dedicated instructor time and a reserved seat for every enrolled student. Students are therefore expected to attend all scheduled classes punctually.

Students who are unable to attend a class should inform the academy as early as possible. Advance notice is appreciated; however, notifying the academy does not automatically qualify the student for a replacement class.

Any class not attended by the student will be considered a missed class, irrespective of the reason for absence.

Missed classes cannot be rescheduled as part of the regular course timetable. Students may recover missed topics through one of the following options:

  • Consult classmates for notes, project files, assignments, and class updates.
  • Attend the academy’s Monthly Doubt Clearing Session to clarify concepts and cover topics from the missed class.
  • Book a paid Individual Makeup Session with an instructor, subject to availability.

Students are responsible for ensuring they remain up to date with the course curriculum.

3. Missed Class & Makeup Policy

Since instructors and classrooms are reserved specifically for each batch, missed classes cannot automatically be rescheduled.

Students have the following options:

Option A – Self Catch-Up (Recommended)

Students may obtain class notes, project files, assignments, and guidance from their classmates and continue with the next scheduled class.

Instructors will answer brief questions related to previously covered topics during regular class hours whenever feasible.

Option B – Individual Makeup Session

Students who require a dedicated one-on-one session to recover a missed class may book an Individual Makeup Session.

Fee: ₹3,500 + applicable GST per session.

Sessions are subject to instructor availability and must be booked in advance through the academy.

Advance payment is required before confirming the session.

4. Monthly Doubt Clearing Session

To support every student’s progress, Adapt Music Academy conducts one complimentary Monthly Doubt Clearing Session.

This session may be used to:

  • Clarify concepts from previous classes.
  • Review assignments or projects.
  • Resolve technical or software-related questions.
  • Discuss topics from a missed class.
  • Receive additional academic guidance.

The Monthly Doubt Clearing Session is intended for clarification and guidance only. It is not a replacement for a complete classroom session or an Individual Makeup Session.

The date and timing of the Monthly Doubt Clearing Session will be announced by the academy each month.

5. Private Training (One-on-One) Programme

Students who require greater scheduling flexibility or prefer personalised instruction may opt for the academy’s Private Training (One-on-One) Programme.

Unlike regular batch classes, one-on-one training allows students to schedule classes directly with the instructor, subject to mutual availability.

Additional Fee

Music Production: ₹20,000 + applicable GST

DJ Course: ₹10,000 + applicable GST

The above fee is in addition to the standard course fee.

Benefits

Students enrolled in the programme receive:

  • Flexible class scheduling.
  • Personalised instruction.
  • One-on-one mentoring.
  • Individual feedback and guidance.
  • Greater flexibility for working professionals and students with changing schedules.

All sessions must be scheduled in advance and remain subject to instructor availability.

6. Extra Practice & Support

Students are encouraged to practice regularly outside classroom hours.

Additional instructor support outside scheduled classes is subject to instructor availability.

Extended mentoring, personalised coaching, or additional training sessions may be booked separately where applicable.

7. Batch Change Policy

Requests for changing batches may be considered only if:

  • Seats are available in the requested batch.
  • The requested batch aligns with the academy schedule.
  • The change does not disrupt existing batches.

The academy does not guarantee batch transfers.

8. Late Arrival Policy

At Adapt Music Academy, punctuality is a shared responsibility between students and instructors.

Student Late Arrival

  • Students are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled class time.
  • Classes will begin on time and will not be delayed for late arrivals.
  • Students arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may be denied entry if their arrival is likely to disrupt the class.
  • The instructor is not obligated to repeat topics covered before the student’s arrival.
  • Repeated late arrivals may affect the student’s progress and may be addressed by the academy if they become habitual.

Instructor Late Arrival

Adapt Music Academy values every student’s time.

Minor delays of up to 10 minutes due to operational or technical reasons may occasionally occur and shall not constitute a cancelled or shortened class.

If an instructor is delayed beyond this, the academy will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the student receives the full duration of the scheduled class.

Where possible, the instructor will:

  • Extend the class to compensate for lost time; or
  • Arrange an alternative time to complete the remaining session, subject to mutual availability.

If an instructor is unable to conduct a class due to unforeseen circumstances, the academy will reschedule the session at no additional cost to the student.

9. Student Support & Instructor Availability Policy

Adapt Music Academy is committed to providing every student with quality guidance and academic support throughout their course.

To ensure equal attention for all students and maintain a healthy work-life balance for instructors, support is provided through structured channels rather than unscheduled phone calls or personal consultations.

Students are requested not to contact instructors directly for routine doubts outside scheduled class hours.

Students may receive support through the following:

Scheduled Class Support (Included)

Students are encouraged to ask questions, clarify concepts, and seek guidance during their regular scheduled classes.

Monthly Doubt Clearing Session (Included)

Students may use the monthly session to clarify concepts, review assignments, discuss missed topics, and receive academic guidance.

Individual Makeup Session (Paid)

Students requiring dedicated one-on-one instruction or wishing to recover an entire missed class may book an Individual Makeup Session.

Fee: ₹3,500 + applicable GST per session.

Sessions are subject to instructor availability and must be booked in advance.

Students are encouraged to communicate with the academy through its official WhatsApp number or email for non-urgent queries. The academy will respond during working hours as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Academy Scheduling Rights

Adapt Music Academy reserves the right to:

  • Allocate students to suitable batches.
  • Modify batch timings when operationally necessary.
  • Merge or reorganise batches based on enrollment.

Students will be informed in advance whenever significant scheduling changes occur.

11. Student Responsibilities

Every student is expected to:

  • Respect instructors, staff, fellow students, and academy equipment.
  • Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.

Disruptive behaviour may result in disciplinary action or termination of enrollment.

The academy reserves the right to issue verbal or written warnings for repeated misconduct.

Serious or repeated violations of academy policies may result in suspension or termination of enrollment without refund.

13. Class Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Students are requested to inform the academy as early as possible if they are unable to attend a scheduled class.

Notification of absence does not automatically entitle the student to a replacement class.

All missed classes are governed by the academy’s Missed Class & Makeup Policy.

If the academy is required to cancel a class due to instructor unavailability or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative class will be arranged at no additional cost to the student.

14. Academy Commitment

Adapt Music Academy is committed to providing:

  • Professional instruction.
  • Industry-standard curriculum.
  • High-quality studio facilities.
  • Individual guidance during scheduled classes.
