A Person who usually mixes music with help of cd players, turntables or laptops is known as a DJ. It’s an Act to Play, Cut, Mix & Blend Recorded Music at nightclubs, events or over the radio, is called a dj, it stands for “disc jockey”
Today, the term includes all forms of music playback, no matter the source. There are several types of disc jockeys. Radio DJs introduce and play music that is broadcast on AM, FM, shortwave, digital, or internet radio stations. Club DJs select and play music in bars, nightclubs, discothèques, at festivals, or even in a stadium. Hip hop disc jockeys select and play music using multiple turntables, often to back up one or more MCs, and they may also do turntable scratching to create percussive sounds. In reggae, the disc jockey (deejay) is a vocalist who raps, “toasts”, or chats over pre-recorded rhythm tracks while the individual choosing and playing them is referred to as a selector. Mobile DJs travel with portable sound systems and play recorded music at a variety of events.

The Basic DJ Course is perfect if you want to start DJ’ing or need some help with your beatmatching and transitions
You will learn how to mix across various styles of music. Over the course of 4 weeks your tutor will guide you step-by-step through the equipment and techniques you need to know to keep the dancefloor rocking. We will teach CD Mixing, Looping, Effects and Recording.
By the end of the Basic DJ course you would be able to add a real performance element to your sets and how to put together a professional demo.
You would be confident in your mixing technique’s and you will be able to build your own sets, blended seamlessly from one track to another.
In the pro dj course you will be taught how to mix on cd players, use turntables and vinyl records for mixing music, using software’s like traktor and rekordbox at its full potential and making your demo mixtapes, you will also be given free unlimited practice time apart from your classes to make sure you never miss a beat and that your skills are polished every day. We also help you to play in various venues across Delhi that will give you the required platform for your performances.

The mixer is one of the main thing’s in DJ’ing.
A DJ mixer is a type of audio mixing console used by disc jockeys. The key features in a DJ mixer are the ability to redirect (cue) a non-playing source to headphones with the presence of crossfader & upfaders you can do transition between two or more sources. DJ mixers are also used to create DJ mixes.

Advantages from a laptop are huge you can convert your material from cd’s to mp3 or waves. The most obvious if u notice, any dj u look around would be carrying their own heavy cd folders or big vinyl bags for gigs.
By converting to software DJing you also get rid of that long search through several hundred CD compilations Software djying allows you to be more creative and experiment more in terms of effects, transitions, mixing and live performances
Yes, you can still learn, though learning a musical instrument like a keyboard or a guitar definitely helps. we do offer assistance in learning musical instruments too. So need not worry we got you covered

You will be guided through basic and advance techniques of sound design and music production, hence you will be able to create any form of genre of music post your course completion, from techno to psytrance, to Bollywood and chill out music. Not forgetting house and EDM .
We do not keep more than 3 students in one batch, it’s very intimate and close up education, so that every student gets equal attention
We are very strict about missing classes, but we understand that sometimes one cannot make it due to reasons beyond control, so we can re schedule your missed class but you are only allowed to 4 misses, after that you will be charged 3000 inr for us to re schedule that particular class.

No we don’t provide placements but we do provide all our students the opportunities to perform at various venues like kitty su, Auro, raasta to name a few in new Delhi, they are the top clubs in India at the moment and we make sure you get noticed. This only applies to our prodj students and for students enrolled in the Ableton live dj course.
