- To earn your certificate and to successfully complete the course, a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory. Anything below this will not be considered.
- The academy shall not be liable for students’ progress if they do not comply with the mandatory attendance requirements and reserves all rights to cancel their certification.
- The academy reserves all rights to cancel the certification of the student if they fail to complete the courses in the stipulated time frame assigned for the course.
- Registration fee and monthly fee are non-refundable.
- In case a student cancels or misses a lesson, the students will be marked absent and the class shall not be rescheduled.However, if the class is cancelled due to absence of the trainer, then the academy will reschedule the class.
- In case of hospitalization or any such medical emergencies a doctors certificate will be required.
- If a student wishes to cancel or change their class time completely or enroll for a new batch due to any personal reason then they must give it in writing with a valid reason and the academy shall take that into consideration. The academy reserves all rights to make a decision on this.
- If the student wishes to enroll for a one on one class with the instructor then extra fee is applicable, to know more on this please consult our admin or student coordinator for details.
- Students who absent themselves for any period of time must continue to pay fees.
- The academy reserves the right to amend all courses fees and modules periodically.
- The academy reserves the right to roaster the time/dates/days for the classes, the student cannot chose the same.
- The academy reserves the rights to change the assigned instructor and time of the scheduled batch at any given point and all our re scheduled batches will be conveyed to the students 72 hours prior to the said arrangement.
- The academywill be open for 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. The schedule of holidays will be displayed on the academy’s notice board from time to time.
- The academy will provide all the necessary equipment and gear for the student at the facility during the time of their course.
- All study material will be provided by the academy.
- For the advance dj course the student is allowed free practice ( max of 2 hrs. per day ) time in the studio for the duration of 2 months or till the completion of their course (whichever is earlier) post that if they wish to practice and use the studio facility, the student shall be charged INR 2000 plus taxes per hour.
- For the basic DJ course the student will be allowed 10 hours of practice time in total for the duration of 1 month or till the completion of their course (whichever is earlier) post that the student will be charged INR 2000 per hour for practice.
- For music production courses free studio practice time is available for students ( 2hrs per day )for the duration of 3 months or till the completion of their course (whichever is earlier), post the completion of the course they can book the recording studio for 2000 per hour for their personal use.
- If a student books a practice slot and then cancels it without an advance notice of 48 hours, then it will attract a penalty of INR 1500 plus taxes.
- Please note that a certificate of completion will only be issued once the student submits their final assignment for the instructor to evaluate and they must have a minimum of 75% attendance.
- The institute sends text messages or calls on the mobile number/s provided to the institute by the student from time to time to inform about any change of class schedule or to remind them about the fee payable etc. The student shall have no objection in same even if his/her phone number is registered under the DND services by his/her cellular network provider. The institute updates its picture Gallery from time to time both at the institute premises and on its website & social media pages etc, where pictures of students taken randomly by the institute are uploaded or displayed. Students shall have no objection in the same or if they do have any objection they may request the institute to remove the same. This shall be done as soon as it’s technically/physically & practically possible.
The academy shall be entitled to terminate these terms and conditions and cease to provide you with any Services with immediate effect in the event that you:
- Fail to pay when the fee is due
- All students will be considered dismissed voluntarily if he or she misses the lessons for more than 3 times without giving prior written notice. No refund will be given.
- Act in an aggressive, bullying, offensive, threatening or harassing manner towards any employee of ADAPT music academy, any teacher/ lecturer and any student at the academy
- Cheat or plagiarize any work which you are required to prepare or submit in connection with the course or during any examination taken in connection with the course
- Steal or act in fraudulent or deceitful manner towards the academy or any of its employees or any other students who may be on our premises or attending our courses
- Intentionally or recklessly damage our property or the property of our employees or other students attending on the premises
- Are intoxicated through alcohol or illegal drugs while on the premises
- Commit any criminal offence while on the premises
- Are in breach of these terms and conditions.
ADAPT MUSIC ACADEMY shall not be liable to you for any breach of its obligations or termination under these terms and conditions arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes and other Acts of God, terrorism, strikes, delay caused by transport disputes, failure to provide a course caused by a death in the trainer’s family, illness of the trainer, Government edict or regulation.
All Intellectual Property Rights in the Course Materials, Online Courses and the speeches made by trainers at the Taught Courses are, and remain, the intellectual property of ADAPT music academy , whether adapted, written for or customized for the Client or not.
You are not authorized to:-
(i) copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-license, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the Course Materials without prior written permission;
(ii) record on video or audio tape, relay by videophone or other means the Online Course or Taught Course given
(iii) use the Course Materials in the provision of any other course or training whether given by us or any third party trainer;
(iv) remove any copyright or other notice of ADAPT music academy on the Course Materials;
(v) modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer (save to the extent permitted by law) any software forming part of the Online Courses.
Breach by you of this clause 7.2 shall allow us to immediately terminate these terms and conditions with you and cease to provide you with any Services, including but not limited to access to the Online Courses. In consideration of the Fees paid by you, we grant to you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Course Materials and the software in respect of the Online Course for the sole purpose of completing the Online Course and / or attending the Taught Course.
NOTE : The school reserves the right to include, delete or change any of the above terms and conditions with or without prior notice. These terms and conditions, together with the Website Disclaimer and Course Specific Terms and Conditions are the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreements and arrangements, whether written or oral. You confirm that you have not relied on any representations in entering into these and any other terms and conditions with us. Nothing in this clause or terms and conditions shall limit liability for any fraudulent misrepresentation
